They had 14 cents in earnings for 9 months and ended the year (backing out non-cash stuff) of a loss of a penny. That means they lost 15 cents in the fourth quarter!!! That's incredibly bad. (Glad I had sold out). Saul |

Buy guys, you know, the real story on this company is not what they are doing now but what they will be doing in the future. Why is the PRC willing to loan CHGI $26MM? The reason is that the Company will be able to use the $26MM loan they are receiving from the PRC to retool their factory and produce nuclear graphite. Yep, that data looks good. Company definitely has opportunities in the nuclear power industry, where CHGI pure graphite can be utilized. Not to mention that only one Chinese company supplied graphite to nuclear power plants in 2008, at just 2000 tons. Guys, and do you know that CHGI is going to focus on the less competitive fine grain graphite and high purity graphite products, which offer higher margins when compared to other carbon markets? The big emphasis in this endeavor will be to penetrate the nuclear power plant industry where China expects to spend 450 billion RMB by 2020. |
