Trading volume in JADA has been declining substanstially since June, 1st. From volumes over 1mio shares a day to not even 100K in the last week.

Today the volume seems to be picking up.

Anyone a clue?

Good results for JADA en more important improving market conditions!

Managements comments are now positive for the future:

 "Having previously experienced a slowing in its growth rate, Chinese economy now appears to be recovering and showing improvement. This is having a positive impact on the commercial and residential construction markets and the jewelry market into which the Company sells raw jade."

They made it! Yesterday at 10:24 pm the 10-K report was filed.

EPS for 2009 was $ 0.15. No guidance given for 2010.

I expect the 10-Q report for the first quarter of 2010 within a few days (as was the case in 2009).

In a few days Jada should post their annual result-SECfiling.

It seems that, in the past, Jada posted their filings in more than 67% of the cases ONE DAY BEFORE or ON THE LAST DAY of the extension period.

The shorts are driving the stock down at the moment, but there is a good chance for a reverse at last on Monday.

 The shorts are effectively speculating on a tardive filing of the 10K-report.

Check the Yahoo Finance-message board.

Please note that last year they were also much too late with the filing . I see it as an opportunity, rather than a concern.

At these price-levels a bad quarter should only lead to a temporary dip.

Not sure whatr happened.  Just investors making a bet that things have bottomed for JADA. If these guys would retire some shares JADA could be a home ruun.

I have not been able to find anything to support the increase in volume or price.  Makes me leery.

Jade Art is a participation of China Finance (CHFI.OB). Seems to be selling at less than 3 times 2009 earnings. Other companies in the CHFI portfolio were or are CNOA.OB, NEWN.OB and GFRE. Last two are clear success stories.

Jada had a surprising Q3/2009 quarter with EPS of $0.08! Don't know if this will continue.

On the day of announcement of 3th Quarter results, stocks were catapulted above $0.80 on heavy volume. Since then, stock went down smoothly to today's levels.

The stock was selling above $2.00 a few years ago. But it hasn't been able to recover the global sell-off of China stocks at the beginning of 2009.

To me it's seems there is a huge potential, but few information.

Maybe Geoteam could try to contact management?
