The GeoTeam would like to share the latest sagas in our effort to expose brazen pump and dumps. Yesterday, we sent out a Premium Email to our premium members about the following.
Sefe (OTCBB:SEFE)
We view Sefe (OTCBB:SEFE) no differently than any other Pump & Dumps that use exaggerations of the truth and sexy story lines for which promoters at times spend millions of dollars to orchestrate massive pump moves. On April 24, 2012 in a premium email alert, we first disclosed that we were short this name, citing SEFE's seemingly ridiculous business plan and a pump site's off-the-wall price target above $5 per share.
Please see our SEFE Report here - Sefe's Hot Air Balloon about to Burst! www.geoinvesting.com/companies/duediligence/SEFEs_hot_air_balloon_about_to_burst.aspx
Raystream (OTCBB:RAYS) Update
Raystream (OTCBB:RAYS) was our inaugural U.S. pump & Dump (P&D) fraud report. We highlighted our RAYS exposé on 12/08/2011 at $1.75 and followed up with a 40 page report on 12/29/2011. The stock now trades under $0.40. There are now new issues regarding the RAYS story including our findings that the company has collapsed its German operating subsidiary, yet to be disclosed in U.S. filings.

Maybe because it was to easy to verify - even for naive penny stock investors - that their ads site has practically no ads and traffic compared to Craiglists and others.
Then the hypes of the moment are "Green Economy", Raw Materials (coal, gold, lithium and so on...) and vitamins/diet supplements.
Last but not least, I think the insiders started too soon and too strong selling into the promotion.
Take the case of Rackwise (OTCCB:RACK), I'm sure that the initial advance in price was driven by a boxed deal between insiders, to give the impression of a strong positive trend... remember those 100 shares trade to keep the price artificially higher at close?
I'll give a closer look at those three tickers ( Virtual Piggy (OTCCB:VPIG), Great Wall Builders (OTCCB:GWBU), Green Ballast (OTCCB:GBLL)) during the weekend... |

alpha, mell
We need to watch these three stocks for the next pump and dump campaigns.
Virtual Piggy (OTCCB:VPIG) ( Our team can visit this company as they are in Philadelphia).
Great Wall Builders (OTCCB:GWBU)
Green Ballast (OTCCB:GBLL)
I think GWBU is a perfect candidate. Has the sex appeal of SEFE and capital structure of SNPK so it can trade massive volume. Let's keep an eye open.
See blog notes for these three names:

Sunpeaks Ventures (OTCCB:SNPK) pumped really worked out on heels of Walgreen "relationship" .. more than a double. No shares to short. Sefe (OTCCB:SEFE) is being pumped by the same outfit.
SEFE 4/11/2012 Blog notes
-
The business of the Company is to commercialize the ability to harvest atmospheric electricity. The Company has limited operations and in accordance with FASB ASC 915-10, “Development Stage Entities,” the Company is considered a development stage company. Need we say more? The stock has been on a tear from around $0.70 on high volume since press release flow intensified in late March. They also hired an IR firm.

Hi Whitetiger, I agree with your general consideration: even if Protandim doesn't work, it may sell (unless it proves to be dangerous and the FDA stop it... but at the moment no evidence of this).
The central question remains if "it sells"... according to the most recent quarter it seems so... but who is really buying the product?
My supposition (still to validate) is that this suddenly jump in revenues could consists of "internal sales" to distributors on the top of the pyramid (maybe they were attracted by fees bigger than the usual). Will then end customers really buy Protandim? I don't know, but if they don't in the medium term, the whole pyramid will collapse and also the distributors will not buy Protandim anymore. Joining to network would be a good way to investigate their selling practice.
Regarding the internal control issue:
"In conclusion, our Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer determined that we did not maintain effective internal control over financial reporting as of December 31, 2011."
and later:
"During the quarter ended December 31, 2011 we hired a VP General Counsel and integrated the Corporate Controller into the control structure. We anticipate that the above initiatives will be at least partially, if not fully, implemented by March 2012. Additionally, we plan to test our updated controls and remediate our material weaknesses by June 30, 2012."
Is there a risk of a financial restatement on June?
I will try to contact dostoyevsky_1999, of course without revealing any names at the beginning.
About the other points, I'll address them tomorrow.

 | 13292 | | LFVN | | 25-Mar-2012 12:46 PM | |
Alpha, Yes i read your information on LFVN. For sure, something smells with this name. The key question... Is the company cooking the books or taking part in unethical business practices or both? Several multi-level marketing companies have gone through and survived periods of business plan scrutiny. Whether the products work or not is a debatable thesis. What matters more is that enough people believe they work (as long as the company is following proper marketing guidelines).
:
Regarding Donald Brown.
There is no doubt that the Lifevantage (OTCCB:LFVN) execs have skeletons. Maybe we should join the network?
Now on to the financials"
-
How did they increase sales so much for the most recent quarter and experience little AR growth, yet inventory has increased?
-
I will look at non-GAAP EPS later today.
-
The internal control issue is worth exploring (but it looks like they have taken steps to remedy the weakness).
And yes.. If dostoyevsky_1999 has a compelling story to write, we would like to see it. has a com,

There are so many pump campaign to monitor... I'm now devoting my limited efforts to Lifevantage (OTCCB:LFVN), which is sometimes shortable on IB.
Did you have a chance to read my executive background check?
There is a guy on the Yahoo! MB who is posting really a lot about this company. His alias is dostoyevsky_1999... maybe we can ask him to contribution with a piece? |
 | 13282 | | RAYS, YLLC | | 20-Mar-2012 08:16 PM | |
Yellow7 (OOTC:YLLC) might be gearing up for a pump campaign.
They just announced a forward stock split. Many pump and dump stocks, including Raystream (OOTC:RAYS), possibly do this to increase liquidity to create volume for the pump. |

 | 13273 | | HRID | | 19-Mar-2012 04:55 PM | |
The makers of Azul Instant, Nouveau Life Pharmaceuticals (HRID) has attempted to keep its share price up over $0.10. So they’re trying to pull the sheet over investor’s eyes again. Taking the non-traditional "Pump & Dump" method of using Stock Tout Letters. This time around they are utilizing the services of an analyst, Advent Financial, which was paid for by a third party.
For a measly $7,000 they were asked to produce a report with information provided by either the third party or HRID themselves. In it they project that HRID will have revenues of $44 Million in five years and a share price of $0.88. That is comical to say the least, I don't whether to laugh at the fact you still can't order anything off of their website or the report itself. In our opinion the report is pure fantasy.

Two stocks on our speculative screens are moving
Luminart (OOTC:LUMP)
This stock has been inching up since the third quarter of 2011 and now we know why. It is another company jumping on the North American energy boom bandwagon through the operation of contract hauling services.
Domark Intl (OTCCB:DOMK)
Stock has been pumping on the heels of 3 press releases since March 12th 2012, when it announced that it was launching a new product:
