Fernando, it's one thing to go down with the market and another to crash 40% on one day, with OTGDD no less. I think GEO owes us a further report on VALV asap so people can make a decision as to sell or hold or buy more even. We all make mistakes, but its what you do after the mistake that makes u a man or a bum.

Jam.. Being right short/med term the RTO space , on the long side, will always be challenging.. This is a trading space right now. Period... We do not to plan abandon our DD on Shengkai Innovations (NASDAQ:VALV).
As far as our track record for our short calls. It speaks for itself.. But we do not expect the market to react to verified fraud 100% of time. Sometimes it takes time. Even with Zhongpin (NASDAQ:HOGS)..

Jam, even if the VALV Company was perfect in every way, the stock could still have gone down given the overall China sentiment. Many American companies which are cheap become insanely-cheap in these kind of volatile markets.
People can't say 'Oh but Geo recommended it, so its your fault I bought it!'. I mean common, are people drones? All Geo can do is provide an investigative service and report its findings. We all know any such findings will be incomplete but even a bit of true information in an environment clearly lacking ANY clarity is worthwhile. It reduces risk -- nobody claims it eliminates it -- It especially does not protect people from Chinese-management-moronic-stupidity.
Personally I traded Valv but its never been a company I actually *liked*. Heck, I don't like OSN either -- Even if everything they report is true.

VALV
There are a lot of people went long after your report at much higher price, I sincerely hope you have an answer for them, with updated analysis and OTGDD.
Dont' worry about HOGS, it only hurts a little to the ones who went short after your report.
Dont' get me wrong, overall, I think you are doing investors a great service, what I am saying in all my previous remarks are that there are more to it than the way you look at them, in your next report, please put the warning in red.

Interesting,, So you do admit that SAIC are not consolidated.. So tell me why Zhongpin (NASDAQ:HOGS) WOFE SAIC consolidates all of the subs filings? This proves that the WOFE SAIC was forged. I hope HOGS keep increasing.
Shengkai Innovations (NASDAQ:VALV) was a good initial call.. DO the math of the price move during the first few days of the call.. As we have always said, coring up ChineseHybirds is a dangerous game which is why they will be less than 20% of our portfolio holdings.
SAT matched SEC.. The company ranked high as a tax payer. If there is fraud in this name and we can't trust SAT info, a big problem exists. IF Shengkai Innovations (NASDAQ:VALV) is real then is could be a going private candidate if they restructure the warrants or they just expire worthless. |

Haha, I didn't think you really followed Maj's advice into VALV. If you did, well, no Vaseline in the world can soften your pain now. But maybe you can buy some HOGS puts?

Haha, I thought it would be 20 at least if MBOed. I am no expert in PRC law but SAIC aren't consolidated. I need to sell some puts and buy some cheap HOGS so that's why I can't wait.
Btw, thanks for the VALV report, was great call! Everybody is reading it on Yahoo now.

VALV....Don't you think you should be on top of the valve action this morning..To support some of your subscribers who might be long this name...Wake up |

Dont' worry Jam. Zhongpin (NASDAQ:HOGS) report is on the way. We just wanted to re-pull the the SAIC filings again. Remember, we were missing a few subs.. Well, the story to support our findings is now stronger. If I am not mistaken you said HOGS would be $18 two weeks ago on yahoo.
Jam, as an expert in PRC law can you please tell us whether SAIC filings are consolidated?
The HOGS case is so easy to figure out. You better hope that the market, PE firms and regulators do not solve this riddle. Maybe you will get lucky and they won't. But we will do our best to spell it out for them.

Where is the report on HOGS, come on Maj, are we waiting for it to go over 20 before we launch the report? Just like HBRN? Or is there nothing new to say and all fear mongering isn't working? If I am not mistaken, HOGS actually outperformed the global market since your latest piece?

Maj, we have different approaches, while you focus on the dangers, I focus on the opportunity, all dangers aside bar one, this company has value far higher than it's trading if the company is buying hand over fist because there is a deal on the table for a buyout or take over or even equity stake. I believe the only reason why the company is buying back the stocks is to arbitrage, not to save a sinking ship as you suggested.
Nevertheless, I am holding my breath to see what you may bring forth, having seen your track record, i have to take ur opinion seriously and to be honest, you think anything in the RTO space would surprise me anymore? So while I admit there is danger, I think the opportunity outweights the danger, after all, it is a risk reward game, rn't it?

Jam.. All kidding aside,, You really need to take a closer look the Zhongpin (NASDAQ:HOGS) story without consideration for what the company is telling you. Not doing so would be pathetic. How many more examples will you need?

"The size of the purchase is several times more than their annual salary." Pathetic, shows real lack of character and brain cells.

I think SEC needs to know about HOGS' obvious issues. Also their recent insider buys look as fishy as the CCME's CFO insider buy. The size of the purchase is several times more than their annual salary. |
