Previously, it engaged in the design, manufacture, and marketing of robotic workstations for the electronics industry, including routing and de-paneling workstations to entities in North America and the Pacific Rim. The company also engaged in research and development of a prototype micro-robotic device to manipulate organ tissues. Ridgefield Acquisition intends to acquire or merge with operating business entities. The company was founded in 1983 and is based in Danbury, Connecticut.
