Dutch is correct..
Basically, your goal should be to gather and digest public information quickly, while building relationships with those who can offer insight into where companies are heading and present you with investment opportnunites.
The micro-cap space is an ideal space to exploit investors lack of awareness of public information.
Take SCOK as an example. Public information was just sitting out there that took a while for investors to find. We were actually able to highlight the reverse merger details on our site before the stock had its incredible run. We really didn't exploit the situation , but the key is to have the opportunity.

I made a choice years ago to spend the $$$ on information providers that can deliver news to me quickly. One good trade can pay for this. Some platforms like etrade offer some good tools. ReutersBridgeStation is the platform Geo currently uses. But we have developed an inhouse system that we are currently testing and will eventually offer to GeoMembers. We will also be offering investment classes that will help you create a plan to identify opportunities quicker than the masses.
