The Company carries out three types of primary operations:
(1) retail sales of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and operation of CNG filling stations;
(2) retail sales of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and operation of LPG filling stations;
(3) wholesale of LPG and CNG.
Compressed Natural Gas (“CNG”) is a substitute for gasoline, diesel, or propane fuel. It is considered to be an environmentally "clean" alternative to those fuels and it is much safer than other motor fuels in the event of a fuel spill.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (“LPG”) is a mixture of hydrocarbon gases used as a fuel in heating appliances and vehicles, and increasingly replacing chlorofluorocarbons as an aerosol propellant and a refrigerant to reduce damage to the ozone layer. LPG is manufactured during the refining of crude oil, or extracted from oil or gas streams as they emerge from the ground.
